Welcome
In 1995, the Minnesota legislature passed legislation authorizing pilot projects that would result in systemic
change in the delivery of mental health services for adults with serious and persistent mental illness. The Region IV
South Mental Health Initiative is one of the 15 projects statewide that are involved in redesigning and implementing
improved systems for delivering mental health services in communities.
